Memory Care

in the Greenwood Village & Cherry Hills area

When a loved one is dealing with memory issues, they can feel frightened, confused and frustrated about losing independence and meaning in their life. In the Memory Care Neighborhood at the Carillon at Belleview Station, we strive to acknowledge their feelings and to see them beyond their disease: who they are and what matters most to them. We call our approach Touchpoints—a unique, highly personalized Memory Care program where residents, families and care partners provide a nurturing environment in which residents are not defined by their disease, but rather by their individuality and unique contributions to the world.

Touchpoints-Green-1

Our high staff-to-resident ratio is just one factor that sets Carillon at Belleview Station apart. Another is our TOUCHPOINTS program, based on the concept that in our Memory Care environment, residents are not defined by a disease, but rather by their individuality and unique contributions to the world which are recognized and cultivated.

Through TOUCHPOINTS, together, we will:

  • Empower:  Empower residents in the process of customizing their daily experience.

  • Engage:  Create a purpose-filled life through engaging daily activities and relationships

  • Affirm:  Affirm residents through recognition of the individuality and daily experience in our community

  • Comfort:  Address both the physical and emotional dimensions of comfort to maximize the sense of security and peacefulness of residents

  • Protect:  Develop an individualized safety plan for each resident based on identified areas of vulnerability
