Dear Carillon at Belleview Station Community,
We are writing to inform you that we have an additional resident that has tested COVID positive. This resident had close contact with the originally positive resident, was vaccinated, is symptomatic and recovering while quarantining in their apartment. This resident has been quarantining in their apartment since 8/23 because of the known exposure. There are a few other residents known to have exposure who continue to quarantine in their apartments.
Residents who have had a known exposure are being rapid tested every day as are our unvaccinated associates. All residents and associates, regardless of vaccination status, must continue to be PCR tested twice weekly. We appreciate your continued cooperation with testing as it is critical to minimizing the spread of COVID and protecting all of you.
We have not yet received all the results of testing from Monday and Tuesday and so cannot make a determination at this time regarding activities, communal dining and visitation. We will send another letter as soon as we are able to give you specifics.
With the increased cases of COVID that are taking place across the country, it is very important that residents be certain to mask at all times when out of their apartment. Frequent handwashing and social distancing are also effective infection prevention measures.
We will continue to stay in close communication with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and specialists at Denver County and to follow their direction and protocols. We will notify you as any changes are made. Please understand that our license to operate is dependent on following these guidelines.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to Carillon at Belleview Station’s Executive Director, Elizabeth Girling, at (720) 440-8200.
