Dear Carillon at Belleview Station Community,
We are writing to inform you that one of our residents has tested positive for COVID-19. They were vaccinated, are symptomatic and are recovering while quarantining in their apartment.
Those residents that have been directly exposed have been informed, are quarantining per guidance from the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE) and are being rapid tested daily. Any staff that were directly exposed are being rapid tested daily as well.
As a result of this new development, we must discontinue all indoor visitation. We are closing the dining room and discontinuing activities until after we receive the results of the first round of COVID testing. We will continue testing all residents and staff twice weekly until we have no further positive tests and then we will go to weekly testing.
With the increased cases of COVID that are taking place across the country, it is very important that residents be certain to mask at all times when out of their apartment. Frequent handwashing and social distancing are also effective infection prevention measures.
We will continue to stay in close communication with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and specialists at Denver County and to follow their direction and protocols. We will notify you as any changes are made.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to Carillon at Belleview Station’s Executive Director, Elizabeth Girling, at (720) 440-8200.
